Divemaster

To get to this point you must have already mastered all the basic dive skills, developed yourselves as divers through tasked based activities, shown mastery of rescue skills and now achieved self actualisation.
Now is time to develop your leadership qualities, this course will take you from being a good diver to a role model diver with strong leadership skills. What is involved?
- Knowledge development – Develop your theory to an extremely high standard. Like the others courses you have taken there are a series of knowledge reviews to be completed and two final exams. These will test your diving theory and knowledge of PADI standards.
- Water skills assessment – Ensures that you meet the high standard required to become a PADI Divemaster. We will assess your swimming ability, ability to cope with stress and the overall level of all the skills that you will have completed on your open water course.
- Practical application – Develop your leadership qualities through a mixture of workshops, scenarios and practical assessment. In this section we give you hands on experience with a mixture of real students and simulated students with our PADI Divemasters and instructors.
- Prerequisites – The main prerequisites are 40 dives, PADI rescue diver, EFR within 24 months and a medical signed by a doctor.
- Duration – The Divemaster course requires time to master all the necessary skills needed to be able to guide, teach and work as a PADI professional. We recommend a commitment of at least 3 to 6 months
